HISTORY OF BAY CREDIT SOLUTION

Why can’t the average person have financial independence?  Why can’t the average person be given the opportunity to own a profitable business?  Why are there just a few allowed to benefit from climbing the financial services ladder?  When is the ordinary person going to get a break?

Pedro Pomales founded Bay Credit Solution in 2004 prompted by his vision of how the credit restoration industry. Dissatisfied with the exclusivity of the industry, Pedro wanted to offer the average person a way to participate in the lucrative credit restoration business and experience the kind of success that only the credit consultants have been enjoying.

Overcoming Challenges

In order to accomplish his mission, Pedro Pomales knew he would have to overcome traditional industry challenges. The credit consulting industry was inflexible and resistant to change.  It seemed that there was some secret to success that prevented most from achieving it.  It took long hard efforts for full time credit consultant to gain the respect of enough local clients to earn a decent living. The best a professional credit consultant could expect was to eventually become a business owner himself incurring sizable expenses to open an office and hire some help from green, inexperienced credit consultant.  After spending time, money and effort to bring their sales up to par with his own, the newly trained employees would leave and compete for the same clientele base the experienced credit consultant worked long to establish. For Pedro, that was just not acceptable.

Industry Turnover

Regardless of an operation's size, most credit consultant use the commission-split system, requiring credit consultant professionals to forfeit half of their commissions to their owner in exchange for an office environment and company services. The top producers contribute the most to the operation's overhead, thus supporting the amateur, part-time and low-producing credit consultants. Some owner pay only on part of the total commission keeping the larger portions exclusively for themselves, relying on the credit consultant’s lack of understanding of how the service is priced.  Some owner hire inexperienced credit consultants by promising 100% commission, and then charge fee after fee to cut the commission level considerably. All of this spells frustration to the person aspiring to enter the industry.  Most people leave the business within two years, making the industry a high-turnover industry comprised in large part by inexperienced and unprofessional staffs.

one of the main reasons most high producing credit consultants leave their companies to open their own offices is the commission structure inherent within the conventional system.  This creates more competition and poses a challenge for owners who provide in-house training for their credit consultants.
